Daily Mail joins the boycott ?

Imagine a travel ad for the pyramids and sphinx and Nile cruise, without the word Egypt or Egyptian ever appearing? Or one for the Taj Mahal without mentioning the name India, the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame without France or the Acropolis without Greece?

Witness this ad in today's Daily Mail, promoting a multi-point tour of Jerusalem, Galilee and the Dead Sea, with stops in Caesarea, Acre and Judea.

8 days with so much to see in a country barely the size of Wales.

But which country is it?

The “I” word never appears.

A clear case of blatant de-legitimisation of the Jewish state … as if it doesn’t exist. In or out of the so-called ‘green line’, 1967 or 1948 borders … nada!

At worst this is amounts to pure racism by the UK’s second largest daily newspaper with a circulation 3 times larger than the Times. At best, the Mail has put itself firmly in the boycott business.

It’s utterly scandalous.

I would think a letter to the paper's management would be in order even though I wouldn't blame the paper but rather the advertising tourism company more.

I think you are being oversensitive. An ad which said: "Visit London, Wibledon and Loch Ness" without mentioning the United Kingdome would be OK. So why not this?
