Visiting Pollard
Letter to JP:
Sir: In your report of the proposed prison visit ("Israeli envoy to visit Pollard soon") you recall last month’s Knesset resolution which recognised Jonathan Pollard as: an Israeli agent who acted loyally for the security of its citizens. The mere suggestion that he may be freed as a condition of further concessions in the Road Map process is positively repulsive. This is a man who has forfeited 20 of the prime years of his life for the security of a nation that the madness of disengagement seeks to imperil.
