Obama tells Iran - 'Keep the Kid'

Hardly a day goes by without new reports of side deals with Iran reducing Obama’s legacy agreement with the evil and deceiving ayatollahs to new levels of farce.

It reminds me of Woody Allen’s standup sketch about being kidnapped as a youngster.

It went like this…..

The FBI surround the house, "Throw the kid out,", they say, "give us your guns, and come out with your hands up."
The kidnappers say: "We'll throw the kid out, but let us keep our guns, and get to our car."
The FBI says: "Throw the kid out, we'll let you get to your car, but give us your guns."
The kidnappers say: "We'll throw the kid out, but let us keep our guns - we don't have to get to our car."
The FBI says: "Keep the kid."

About All Those Options On The Table .....

On Iran and now on Syria, the White House keeps declaring: 
"All Options Are On The Table"

Only trouble is, the president seems to need a booster seat.

The "StoneWall" of Jerusalem is in Washington

Referring to my penultimate posting, be sure that this is no fluke failure to respond on the capital of Israel.

Here is an earlier briefing by the State Department, in March of this year, where similarly unrelenting questions elicit a total stonewall.

How is this compatible with all Obama's assurances of an "unshakeable alliance" with the Jewish state and that Israelis can depend on him 'watching their backs'.

If his people dare not utter the name of its capital, how can anyone expect him to defend it?

 

From Poor Phrasing to Denial in 4 Years

In JULY 2008 – Seeking Jewish votes for election as president, Senator Barack Obama made this statement at AIPAC:

"Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided."

In JULY 2012 – President Obama’s own press secretary Jay Carney would not even acknowledge Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, divided or otherwise.  See him resist incessant questioning.




How asinine or hopelessly assimilated must American Jewish voters be to continue supporting Obama for re-election? 

And how ironic that this deligitimisation of Jerusalem's Jewish status, by it's "unshakeable ally", took place 3 days before Tisha b'Av.

If Obama gets re-elected on the coattails of killing Bin Laden, the Al Qaeda leader may well succeed in death what he failed to achieve on 9-11 ... the destruction of America.

May 20th, 2011

To my dear friends,

I have always had a great affinity for America. I lived there, when I did my national service for Israel as an emissary in Atlanta, not so long ago. As a girl in school in Rechovot, at a young age, I learned that America was the first country to recognize the nascent State of Israel's independence. So tonight is a sad night... a very sad night, for myself, for the Jewish people, and for our country.

Before another day dawns in Israel, I am obligated to correct a few inaccuracies in the American President's speech. Then I want to tell you what WE are going to do about them.

President Obama stated:  "What America and the international community can do is to state frankly what everybody knows. A lasting peace will involve two states for two peoples". I am obligated to correct the President. Not everybody knows, recognizes, or believes in two states. This is not the platform of the Likud, That is not my belief, and as a legislator in Jerusalem, I will do all that is in my power to ensure the future of the Jewish State lies from the Mediterranean to the Jordan. 

Then there was the endorsement of a return to the 1967 lines, with the quick and ambiguous allusion to the white elephant in the room, namely Jerusalem. Of course, in 1967, Jerusalem was divided and an endorsement for these borders is a de facto endorsement of dividing the eternal capital of the Jewish people. This means no Western Wall, No temple Mount, No old city. This means rending the heart of Israel from our people. This is not a sustainable policy and this is not acceptable, for unless Washington DC is negotiable than neither is Jerusalem! Yet letters, articles, and voicing discontent are sometimes not enough.

We must speak through action. We must use our actions to communicate that Jerusalem is indivisible and that no man, even the President of the United States, can put a boundary on the Jewish People's connection to its capital. This message must be communicated to our Prime Minister, so that he may know that he needs not bow to pressure, for his nation is behind him. This message must be sounded in capitals throughout the world, by citizens of all nations. For this reason, next Friday May 27th, 2011, I will be conducting a tour of unified liberated Jerusalem for the Likud Anglo movement (Details here). Likud Anglos brings together Jews of all nationalities, and together we will defend our claim.

Lastly Mr. Obama outlined how we need to make some important choices, between hate and hope, and between the shackles of the past and the promise of the future, and here I agree with him. We must recognize the hatred that is fomented against us and we must hope that if we trust in our rock and our redeemer, our morals and our convictions, that the Jewish State will persevere. We must choose to destroy the shackles of failed diplomatic tracts, and through that we can create a more secure future for our state. Lastly, no matter where you are from, we must choose to stand together, as Jews, united for the only state that we have, the State of Israel.

Long before President Obama informed us that this time of choices was upon us, King David wrote the words which every Jewish groom recites on his wedding day: "If I forsake thee oh Jerusalem, let my right hand lose its cunning". I invite you all to join me next Friday and to make that choice, to stand with Israel, and to stand with a unified Jerusalem.

Who Really is Barack Obama?

March 24th seems to have been a very bad day for Barack Obama. Not because of anything coming out of Libya or Fox News. Instead this bad weather rolled in from his own backyard.

Just when he thought the ‘birth certificate’ debate had finally run out of steam, in came Donald Trump and blew it back into the headlines. Ironically Trump’s blast was aired on “The View”, ABC’s Bush-bashing ‘feminists for Islam’ talk-show.

Dismissing all the recycled conspiracy theories and genuine nutjobs who have contributed to the ‘birther’ debate, important questions still remain unanswered.

If Obama has genuinely nothing to hide, why hasn’t he just produced the damned certificate? And why have hundreds of thousands of dollars been spent on attorneys to block access to this vital information? And why is there no access to any of his school records, university thesis or law journal articles? And why - and by whom - are so many websites being cleansed of anything unhelpful to Obama’s re-election campaign? The second blow came from Obama’s friend and unrepentant urban revolutionary bomber, Bill Ayres. On the same day as Trump’s birther blast, Ayres admitted having written Obama’s book ‘Dreams of My Father’. See the clip and transcript on WorldNetDaily’s website here. This vindicates the investigative work of WND journalist Jack Cashill in 2008, in exposing the similarities between ‘Dreams’ and Ayres’ other book ‘Fugitive Days’.

Both of these March 24th blasts go to the heart of what seems now to be a throughly valid question: Who really is Barack Obama? For all Obama’s promises of ‘transparency’ the free world seems to have little or no idea. All we have is the fiction that is churned out daily by the fawning leftist media and academia.

If the book is fake - what about the birth certificate?

The truth will out in the end.

And it will make Nixon look like a saint by comparison.

Not forgetting President Obama's performance in all of this turmoil.

Hopefully the name O'bumbler will stick until the 2012 election.

Mixed Messages

The Middle and Near East may be in the biggest state of turmoil for more than a generation, but the big story from the centre of power in Washington is:  President Obama has quit smoking!

Can't he get anything right??

The utter vacuousness of Barack Obama's presidency seems to resonate more with every speech he makes.

On this 9th anniversary of the Islamic butchery wrought on 9-11-2001 he recited these words from his ever-present teleprompter ...

"The highest honor we can pay those we lost, indeed our greatest weapon in this ongoing war, is to do what our adversaries fear the most -- to stay true to who we are, as Americans; to renew our sense of common purpose; to say that we define the character of our country, and we will not let the acts of some small band of murderers who slaughter the innocent and cower in caves distort who we are,"

Wrong Mr.President.
Very nice flowery words and sentiments ... but still plain wrong!

The 'highest honor' you can pay those lost souls and the families who grieve them is to finally acknowledge who did it and why.

That way the people of the United States might finally be able to rally round a commander-in-chief who has found the courage to call evil by its real name.

They rallied round the leaders who identified Nazism as the enemy and defeated it.

They rallied round the leaders who identified Communism as the enemy and defeated it.

Until the leaders of the free world tell the people 'we are at war with Islamism' there will be no serious prospect of defeating it.

Which means there will be ever more 9-11s wrought by this creed that glorifies death.

And the victims of 9-11-2001 shall have died without purpose.

A Bible Lesson Revisited

Whilst researching another story, I happened to come across one of my previous Op-Eds which was published in December 2006.

It was just about the time when the shine started wearing off the presidency of George W Bush. Entitled "A Bible Lesson for Bush" it drew a parallel between the biblical story of Joseph and Anatoly (now Natan) Sharansky's rise from a gulag dungeon to the White House where he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Honor.

In 2006 the specter of a 'President Barrack Hussein Obama' had not even been dreamed of.

At the time I had clearly not realised the full significance of that parallel.

The last part of my piece read as follows:

"George Bush still has another two years left in the most powerful office on earth. Two years that can either glorify his place in history or leave it utterly sullied. But at the end of those two years there will be an election and another parallel in biblical history.
“And there arose a new king over Egypt, who knew not Joseph. (Exodus 1:8) ”

One thing seems clear enough.

Mr Obama is one dude who does NOT know Joseph.

Or else, doesn't WANT to know him.

Obama's State of the Union Address - Extract

"My party’s embarrassing defeat at the senate election in Massachusetts was a shock.


Especially coming as it did on my first anniversary as your president.

I know I am not popular right now. But please bear in mind that the leadership of the free world is something very new to me.

All of us had to learn to crawl before we could walk.
Which is why – during my first year as your president – I have not missed an opportunity to practice my crawling.

To the Iranians, to the Syrians and the Muslim world in general.

To Chavez in Venezuela and to Kim in North Korea.

And, in the case of the Saudis and Japanese, I’ve even managed to get onto my feet and learned to bow.

But my fellow Americans … do not mistake any of this for weakness. Where America is threatened, I am prepared to be tough and bring to bear the full power of the presidency to bear down in our defense.

The greatest threat to our country is not Bin Laden.

It's the banks !

I will be as relentless in pursuing and harrassing those in control of Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Chase Bank and CitiBank as I have been to those in control of the West Bank.

Running out of time

Doomed

Iran defied the world today in rejecting even the sham of a settlement plan watered-down by Mohammed's IAEA which would have enabled them to enrich weapons grade uranium under the noses of the inspectors.

The cheek and temerity of Ahmadinejad's regime - in terms of both nuclear arms and civilian repression - is only a reflection of the dithering of self-interested European governments and the utter spinelessness of the new American president.

Sitting atop his new atomic stockpile, Amadinejad mocks the West - referring to them as nothing more than 'mosqitos'.

Islam spits on Obama and he insists its just raining.

It simply defies belief that in little more than half a century since the end of the second world war, the world has forgotten the lessons of Hitler whose sole mistake was - as Netanyahu reminds us - to develop atomic weapons towards the end of his campaign, instead of in advance.

Ahmadinejad has clearly learned the lessons of history.

By failing to do so, the West and free world are doomed to become history.

That Cairo Speech

Arising from all the commentary and analysis over Obama's speech in Cairo I am ...

1. Deeply hurt - as the son of a Holocaust survivor - at the equivalence he drew between Palestinians living in 'trophy' refugee camps and the 6 million Jews who were horrifically murdered by the Nazis and their European compatriots.


2. Grossly offended by seeing him casting Israeli security forces in the role of white slavers.


3. Surprised at his ignorance of basic facts such as Jewish ties to the land of Israel going back a little further than the UN partition plan (like perhaps a thousand years before the birth of Islam) and suggesting there were 3 times as many Muslims in America than there actually are.


4. Amused at his reference to the Koran as a book of peace. He clearly hasn't read it at all - anymore than he read the trillion-dollar bailout bill.

But mostly, I'm fed up with his endless apologies to Islamist sheikhs, rulers despots and dictators.

Am I the only one who’s still asking why not a single Muslim leader has the guts to make this kind of grand speech to the free world and publicly apologize for - and dissociate from - the appalling slaughter of innocents on September 11th 2001 ???
